Hey guys!*

Today I decided to try out the Not Your Mother's Clean Freak Dry Shampoo. It's the first dry shampoo I've tried, and it was a nice experience. The shampoo had a slight baby powder smell to it. It felt a little wet and airy when I applied it to my hair, but that feeling went away as I brushed out my hair. There weren't any flakes from the dry shampoo, which was an A+ because I have black hair. No one likes the look of dandruff.

My hair felt clean and light after using the product. I saw no difference from when I don't use dry shampoo, except the lightness of my hair. All in all, I don't know if I'd recommend this product because I have never used dry shampoo and I don't have the adequate information to compare it to other brands. Maybe I'll buy another brand of dry shampoo and make a comparison test.

*The NYMCleanFreak Dry Shampoo was given to me free by Influenster for testing purposes. This is my honest review on the product. All comments and opinions are my own.

Have a great New Year's Eve!

Hey guys!

I had gotten Sally Hansen Triple Shine in Sparks Fly from Influenster in my Violet VoxBox. It's a light blue with glitter flakes. It looks great with one coat, but even better with two coats. The brush applicator is long and wide which really spreads out the polish easily. Since the brush is thick, it's not good for tiny details.  However it's very easy to use and just three strokes can cover the entire nail.

I paired my Triple Shine polish with Maybelline Snow Perle as a base coat. The base coat makes the silver glitter really POP! It reminds me of a winter wonderland with the glitter being snowflakes.

Wearing the manicure while showing off the NYMCleanFreak Dry Shampoo I had also gotten in the VoxBox.
I also tried using Jordana Ruby Slippers with the other two polishes and ended up with this:

All in all, I was pretty satisfied with my manicure. The nail polish was in a pretty shade and it applied very easily.  I would recommend this nail polish line to my friends and family.

My "Shining Moment"

I was feeling really confident with my nails because I always mess up. That confidence really helped me out during my family's Christmas party, where I had to endure the criticism of being compared to my much more girly cousin. I felt good and looked good, which must have really impressed my family as they asked me if I was doing something different with my hair because of the confidence radiating around me. I only smiled and said it was just a nice Christmas. It's not a big "shining moment", but it was to me, someone who is always in the background.

Hey guys!

UPDATE: The brand has changed their mask name to 7th Heavean. Their products seem to be the same ones I have reviewed, I will check if they've changed their ingredients.

In my Violet VoxBox I had gotten the Montagne Jeunesse Dead Sea Mud Spa Clay Spas. Here's the product summary from the Violet VoxBox:

"Join the Revolution and start a new weekly skincare regime with the Clay Spas from Montagne Jeunesse. These natural bamboo fabric masks are infused with clay for a cleansing experience that is better, quicker and easier than ever before."

When I first opened the package, the mask was really saturated with the product. It got a little messy when I tried to put the mask onto my face. It's a sheet mask which means that I had to put it on while laying down, but I had to put it on standing up because I wanted to make sure that I was able to cover my entire face.

When I tried it, it felt very refreshing. Although the mask was a bit too large for my face, I felt like the mask covered my face pretty well. I kept the mask on longer than I was suppose because I didn't keep track of the time and I felt like the mask wasn't really working. I think that's why the mask left chalky residue onto my face and it was hard for me to wash it off my face.

The mask did leave me with a clean feeling, but my skin felt a little dried out. I really liked the refreshing feeling of the mask and I will be buying different products off this line to try out because there are different products for different skin types. All in all, I'd recommend this product to people and encourage them to find something they'd like from the company line.

Here's the links to the company!
