#100HAPPYDAYS CHALLENGE

Hey guys!

I was going to post my June Favorites, but I didn't finish it or have the strength to finish it. HOWEVER, I have found out from the Little Red Maple blog that there is a 100 Happy Days Challenge going on. It's not about competing with other people on how much happier you are than them, but finding out what truly makes you happy. I've decided to participate because I haven't been feeling too happy these days and I want to become more in touch with myself. I'll be posting everyday on my Instagram and will try to have a weekly roundup of all the pictures on this blog!

If you want to join me, here's the website! Follow me on instagram to check out what I'm posting for the hundred days. Don't forget to #100HappyDays on whatever site your posting your pictures on so people can check it out! I also have a hashtag that just hit me right now that I'll also be using on my pictures so that people can easily find my pictures: #letsbehappytogether!

Come join the fun!

What do you think of this challenge? Are you going to do it? If you are, leave your links to your pictures below so I can check them out!

FOR SANITY'S SAKE PAMPER SAMPLER

Hey everyone!*

I had recently won a giveaway hosted by a few blogs from beautyoholic site. I had just received the package a few days ago and would like to share my first impressions! *This post is not sponsored. All opinions are my own.

I had won a pamper sampler which is a product from For Sanity's Sake from etsy. It's filled with samples from other shops looking to promote their businesses. It's available in the U.S., Canada, and International-basically, they sell worldwide. There's three different sizes to it.

Petite Pamper Sampler $12
contains 3-8 random samples

Mezzo Pamper Sampler $18
contain 10-15 random samples

Grande Pamper Sampler $24
contains 24-30 random samples

The moment I smelled the lavender coming from the box I knew I would have a new favorite product. I love the calming scent of lavender and was excited to see what exactly is inside.

From For Sanity's Sake Products I had gotten a one ounce baggy of their Homemade Natural Lavender Flowers Bath Salts. It has a really strong scent and the product look so cute. There's a business card stapled onto the front with a list of the ingredients and instructions of how to use the product. I love the scent of lavender and was excited to see this inside. I can't wait to use this product for relaxing after a hard week of tutoring chemistry students in summer school.

Nelly's Quilt Room had sent orange peel wax tarts. They're made from recycled wax and have a faint wax like smell. I don't really use candles or wax tarts, but I'm really excited to try out this product since I'm trying to find natural products that would make my room smell better.

Slippery Creek sent a two fluid ounce sample of their conditioning shampoo in almond mint. The product has a slight minty smell and a pretty tan color. The label is simple yet pretty. The ingredients are clearly listed on the front with the instructions underneath them. Although I would recommend that they would clearly state that there are instructions on the front since the font is so small.

All in all, I'm really satisfied with all the products in the box. The products look so simple yet chic. I can't wait to try everything! I will definitely buy a grande box in the future.

*Updated 03.13.17: This product is no longer for sale. Stores that are no longer opened are not linked.

ETSY HAUL // SPECTRUM COSMETICS

Hey everyone!

*I bought all products out of my own pocket. I was not asked to endorse products created by Spectrum Cosmetics. All opinions are my own.

I recently bought a grab bag from an Etsy shop called Spectrum Cosmetics. I had wanted to try out small business products and Spectrum Cosmetics had a wide arrange of make up that I really liked. They had a lot of eyeshadow at reasonable prices with many different colors to choose from. It was easy to navigate through the shop and find just want I was looking for.

The grab bag was either a make up only product or a body oriented products or a mixture of both. I decided on make up only products because I wanted some new make up. Each grab bag comes with six items. My grab bag had a three eye shadows, a mineral foundation, and two lipsticks.

The products were packaged nicely in bubble wrap and came with a business card.

The lipsticks were in a dark case which I really liked. I had gotten a electric purple and chalkboard like colors. They had a chalky, crayon smell and tingled a little when applied to my lips. Although they are not shades I would wear in public because they wash out my skin tone, they're definitely colors I would wear if they had complimented my skin tone.

The eye shadows were a dark orange, a light brown, and a dark red called Sinner. They were sealed nicely with a protective covering that made sure the product wouldn't spill out.

The colors were vibrant and there was a lot of product in the small packages. They are loose eye shadows, so there was a bit of a fallout when applying them. However, they looked very nice against my tanned skin.

The last product I had gotten was a mineral foundation in a light tan called Sienna. I'm not much of a foundation girl, so I'm not very sure on whether or not it matches my skin tone. It seems a little light which makes me think that it wouldn't match. I will be giving the foundation to one of my friends who matches the skin tone and will be having her tell me her experience with it.

All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase. I had gotten a few quality items to try out and they were better than expected. I definitely be recommending this shop to people who are looking for affordable makeup while supporting small businesses.

That's all folks!

INFLUENSTER REVIEW // VENUS SNAP

Hey guys!*

*This voxbox was sent complimentary by Influenster for testing purposes. All thoughts are my honest opinions.

I had gotten the Venus Snap VoxBox a few weeks ago, but haven't been able to write about it because of school. Now that it's over, I'll have more time to blog.

Here's how the voxbox looks like:

The informational card claims that the Venus Snap with Embrace is perfect for on-the-go and a perfect match for a busy and active lifestyle.

Since I'm a student, I don't always have time for myself. Sometimes I go for weeks without shaving my legs since I live in jeans almost year round. With the Venus InSnap, I'm able to shave wherever and whenever I have time. I just need to find a nearby bathroom and instant smooth skin. This product was especially helpful when I had to quickly get ready for a school event and I only had an hour to get ready. I had smooth skin in a few minutes with little to no irration.

I really love this new product from Venus Embrace. It really fits into my busy lifestyle and I love how small and compact it is. I know I'll be using the coupons soon.

All in all, I'm really satisfied with this product and will definitely be recommending this to my friends.
