#100happydays Week 7

Hey guys!

I had a productive week which is why I wasn't able to post something in the last few days. I had to get school supplies, buy groceries, and take care of my unruly brothers. Enough about that, let's get on to the roundup!

Day 41
School supply shopping always puts a smile on my face. I love getting new stationary.
Day 42
"Criminal Minds" is one of my favorite shows. I love Spencer Reid.

Day 43
One of my favorite lines from one of my favorite songs from Sleeping With Sirens.

Day 44
The only subscription box I'm subscribed to. The Music Box is amazing and I love seeing it in my mail box.

Day 45
A sneak peak of what was inside my August Music Box. A review will be going up sometime this month.

Day 46
Harry Potter was and still is, a huge part of my life. He'll always have a part of my heart.

Day 47
Love isn't the most important thing in life. Sometimes people forget that happiness doesn't just come from love.

That's it for this week! What has put a smile on your face this week?

Beauty Review: Azure Naturals Ultimate Vitamin C Skin Repair Serum

Hey guys!

Here’s a review of another Azure Naturals product! I really love their products and you guys will too!

The Azure Naturals Ultimate Vitamin C Skin Repair Serum smells a like medicine, but it’s not that too overwhelming. The product is really easy to use and has a pretty packaging. It has a dropper applicator where you can control how many drops you can use for your face.

Review Azure Natural Vitamin C.JPG

The product is liquid, but dries quickly once you apply it on your face. I use about three to six drops depending on how much I feel like it would cover my face. I really like how it doesn’t leave a sticky feeling and doesn’t feel heavy.
The company recommends using the Vitamin C serum then applying either their Hydroalcholic serum or Retinol serum. I did as recommended and found that my skin dried out in small patches if I don’t put on a moisturizer. I still really like this product and recommend that you guys don’t forget to skip the moisturizer if you use both of them.

I also will be having a giveaway on this product! The link will be posted down below once I get it up and running! You guys only have two days, so don’t hesitate!

*I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

5 Tips For Room Organization

Hey guys!

Keeping your room neat and organize can be a chore. Here are my tips that I've learned over the years that has helped me tamed the beast that is my room.

5 Tips For Room Organization

Hooks are fun
Using hooks to hold jewelry or clothes is great for keeping your items from getting lost in your drawers. You can get different patterned ones from Daiso which is like a dollar store filled with Asian products ranging from beauty to food. Well, more like a $1.50, but you get the point. You can also try to find pretty hooks from local stores.

Clear Storage Products
It's easier to see everything if you use clear boxes. It'll be easier to know if you have something or not by just a quick glance.

Hide stuff in plain sight.
Hallowed books are fun. Not actual books, but the ones that are made for them. Or you can use tiny figurine boxes to store tiny items. Those are great for organization and decor.

Vertically storing items
Vertically storing is the key. You can have more floor space if you stack things especially if you have a small apartment or space. As long as you can reach your items, vertically storing your stuff is a great idea.

Go through your stuff on a regular basis.
Doesn't have to be daily or weekly. Whatever works for you. Going through your stuff annually is great for knowing what you have or don’t have. You can also throw away or donate items that don’t fit your style or lifestyle anymore.

Have any tips for organization? Leave them down below!

Review: Australian Tea Tree Oil

Hey guys!

Here's a review of a product that I'd never thought I'd fall in love with! At first, I had no idea what to do with this product. Which is why I was so happy that the company also included an eBook that had instructions to make items that use this product! There were over 50 projects, and I decided to use it as a message oil.

Why a message oil? I just had to use the products itself and my dad has been getting some bad aches lately because of work and playing basketball. I also didn’t have the right ingredients to make the rest of the projects in the book.

The oil worked pretty well. First we tested to make sure my dad wasn’t allergic to the tree tea oil, and off we went! He said it felt nice on his skin. For me, as I messaged my dad I noticed it dried quickly when I used a little bit of it.

The smell wasn't too overwhelming for me. It felt relaxing, but I wasn't really that much of a fan of it. The oil worked well as a message oil and I can't wait to get my hands on items to make the other products in the ebook! I'd definitely recommend this product for people who make their own beauty products, makeup, etc.

If you make homemade beauty products, what do you think of tea tree oil? What do you guys suggest I use it with?

#100happydays Week 6

Hey guys!

This week has been full of technological findings. As in, I’ve downloaded a lot of apps that I’ve fallen in love with. These are just a few apps that I’ve been loving. So let’s go!

Week 6 Sun.JPG

Day 34
Esther Day is a great day to tell family, friends, and other people that you love them! Here’s the site where you can learn more about this day! I think it’s a great excuse to spread more love and kindness in the world

Week 6 Mon.JPG

Day 35
Oovoo is a great alternative to video chatting or facetiming. I usually use it to chat with my little cousin.

Week 6 Tues.JPG

Day 36
Speaking of my little cousin. Here she is with my other relative. She’s the one with the red shirt. The tiny baby is her brother’s daughter, so I’m not sure what to call her. My niece? I don’t know.

Week 6 Wed.JPG

Day 37
They’re also my lockscreen. It’s hilarious to just turn on my iPod and see their faces smiling at me.

Week 6 THurs.JPG
Day 38
I love Adventure Time. Especially the alternate universal involving Fiona and Marshall Lee. I ship these two so bad. I’ll link the original artist here .

Week 6 Fri.JPG
Day 39
The Werdsmith app is really great for people who want to write more. I use it to get to a word count each day and this app is very easy to use. I definitely recommend using this for those who are making writing projects.

Week 6 Sat.JPG

Day 40
The Timeful app is a productivity app. You can schedule events, to dos, and habits! I just got it and I really like it so far. It’s easy to check things off and rearrange everything.

That’s it for this week!

What have you found that’s been putting a smile on your face?

The Fairytale Tag

Hey guys!

This is the first tag post on this blog! I was reading Hanah Notes answers to this tag and since she tagged anyone who read her post, I decided to do it! It’s a great way for you guys to get to know me more since I'm not done with my "About Me" page yet! So happy reading!

Snow White: Do you consider yourself beautiful?
I’ve always struggled with my looks. There’s some days where I think I’m pretty and others where I’m an ugly troll and no one loves me. I’m trying to change that outlook by reminding myself to love all the flaws and scars that I have everyday.

Sleeping Beauty: How many hours do you sleep at night?
In summer, it’s less than the required 8 hours which sucks. I love sleeping, but summer always messes up my schedule.

Cinderella: Do you have a curfew?
I’m 17 years old. If by curfew you mean sleeping time, then no. But if I have to go out? I have to be home before dark.

Rapunzel: Do you love being outside?
Yes! I wish I could go out more, but I’m a little antisocial. I spend more time inside trying to better myself and having fun with my hobbies. I should really get over this dislike of sunlight also.

Little Red Riding Hood: Do you trust strangers easily?
Nope. People judge me so quickly that I can’t really trust people. Only if they’re really special.

Beauty and the Beast: What makes someone beautiful in your eyes?
I would say that everyone is beautiful, but I’d be lying. For me, a beautiful person is someone who’s kind, caring, and is being themselves. If you’re fake or mean, then you’re just contributing to the ugliness in the world.

The Little Mermaid: What would you sacrifice for love?
In all honestly? Anything. Being in love is a beautiful thing, if I had to give something up then I would. Even if it hurts, because love is all about devoting yourself to a special person who accepts you for who you are. But if it’s something that’s infringing on my universal human rights, then he is going out the door.

The Frog Prince: What do you find disgusting?
There’s a long list that’ll bore you, but if it’s one thing that’s at the top, it would be bugs. I can’t stand bugs.

Jack and the Beanstalk: What plans do you have?
I plan to develop my blog and make new friends! Finish my AP English homework for this summer and work hard for my senior year. Figure out what I want to do in life and be happy about my decisions. I want to write and finish a novel. So if anyone wants to help me write every day, email me, comment, whatever! I need all the help I can get.

Puss in Boots: Do you have pets? If not, do you want them?
No pets for now, but I’m hoping for some in the future!

Pinocchio: What's your biggest wish?
I want to be happy in life and influence people into being happy as they are and accept themselves despite all flaws.

Peter Pan: What is your mental age?
Oh that? I’m like 10 years old. I’m a lot more awkward and weird in real life.

The Snow Queen: Who is your best friend and what would you do for him/her?
I have a group of best friends! Some are really close to me and others have drifted and want to reconnect. Doesn’t hurt to have more friends. I’d do anything for them.

The Princess and the Pea: Are you sensitive?
I’m really sensitive. I can get hurt over the littlest thing, but I’m trying hard to not take things too seriously. I’ve been insecure for most of my life and I’m trying to change that. That’s one reason why I created my blog.

The Brave Little Soldier: Do you consider yourself brave?
Maybe. I’ve been through so much in life and honestly? It’s a miracle that I’m still alive. I guess you can say that I am. I don’t know.

Who do I tag?
Nessie Here
The Belle Beauty Blog
And anyone reading this post! Leave a link to your post in the comments below if you do the tag!

What do you guys think about this tag? Did we get all the fairytales? What question were you guys looking for?

P.S. My laptop is acting up, so I'll be using blogger on my iPod. If anything looks funky, don't be afraid to point it out! I can't really see how everything is going to look on the blogger app. Thanks guys!

Beauty Review: Adovia Exfoliating Facial Sea Salts - Dead Sea Salt Exfoliating Crystals

Hey guys!

The product is in a simple jar that's easy to open. It’s filled to the brim with product. Since there's so much product, some spilled out the first time I opened it. Be careful!

Review Adovia.JPG

The product itself is a snow white color with no detectable odor. The salts are finely grounded and are slightly difficult to take out of the jar without spilling a little bit of product.

The salts felt a little bit rough on my face. It didn’t feel bad, but it wasn’t pleasant either. I didn’t feel a difference when I was using the product. After I used it, my face felt slightly softer. Overall, I didn’t really see a difference. I wasn’t too into the product and wasn’t too impressed with it.

Hey everyone!

I love Ross stores! They're brightly lit, have a ton of different items, and is cheap compared to big store prices. Although the store can get messy, I think it depends on which Ross you go to. Some stores are more messy while others are neat and organized. Some customers just don't care about the way they treat a store. Anyway, let's get on with this quick haul.

Small Ross Haul 8.5.14.JPG

"No Money, No Problem" Shirt // I have this weakness for muscle tees. Or whatever they're called. They're not really tank tops, but still not a shirt. I'm in love with them. They're so easy to style.

Instinct Hair Ties // I saw these from one of my favorite youtubers. They remind me of old telephone wires and I really like the colors. These hair ties look really cool when you wear them like a bracelet and use them as a hair tie.

Water Bottle with Baby Filter // I saw this at Ross and I fell in love with it. It's a 24oz water bottle with a little baby filter on the bottom. It's detachable and easy to take off. I see a lot of youtubers who have these kind of water bottles, and I've been dying to get my hands on a similar one. It's perfect for me since I don't really like drinking water.

Ear Buds // These are just simple earbuds that I use for listening to music and making sure I have something to occupy myself with when school comes around. I like to have these plugged into my iPod when it's turned off in case I accidentally turn it on during class.

That's it for this haul! I think I may have a slight addiction to shopping. What have you guys been up to? Leave your comments down below!

Lifestyle Review: Bedtime Bliss Sleep Mask

Hey guys!

I don’t use sleep masks that much since I can’t ever find ones that fit, doesn’t come off when I sleep, and keeps out all the light. The Bedtime Bliss Sleep Mask fills out most of the requirements.

Review Sleep Mask 2.JPG

The sleep mask is contoured to fit your eyelids which means you can get full eye movement. Since its shape fits the eyelids so well, the light is blocked almost all the way! There’s no small flashes from the TV or brightness from a lamp. I say almost because my nose is kind of small and causes a little bit of light to peak through. Although the sleep mask is contoured to keep pressure off your eyes, you can still feel the outline of the mask on your forehead and cheeks. It can feel a little weird, but you can get used to it. The mask has a Velcro closure and stretched to fit around your head. There’s also a logo on sleep mask that could bother some people who wear the mask, but it doesn’t really bother me.

Review Sleep Mask.JPG

It’s thick and feels sturdy enough to handle any kind of damage! The mask makes me want to bring it everywhere since it’s so easy to fold and put into the bag that’s provided. It also came with ear plugs, but I don’t like using them in general. I’m always afraid of them getting stuck in my ears.

All in all, I’m really happy with my sleep mask. There are a few flaws, but it’s a great sleep mask for people who are on the go a lot and really need their sleep.
