Hey guys!

This week has gone by really fast! Here's what I've been up to...

Math has been going pretty well for me. I totally understand the concepts, but remembering them is still an issue for me. I swear I have to worst memory.

I have Psychology now for my second semester. It's pretty fun to learn, but so much to take it. I really love the class though. All my other classes have been normal.

I have been really good at keeping my shopping impulses to a minimum. Since I usually shop at thrift stores or Ross, I have been really good at spending less on items that I won't use, and instead on things I will use.

My quest for having a more organized room and less items that I don't need has been going pretty well. Not only have I purged my closet of unnessary stuff, I have gotten rid of other items that haven't been adding anything into my life, but messiness.

I've started to be more organized with my blogging. I currently have a few posts ready for next month (or tomorrow?!). I also have a surprise for you guys when April comes around! I can't wait to announce it near the end of March!

That's it for this week! Hope you guys had a great week! Thanks for reading!

Style It//Bring The Geek Out

Hey guys!

These looks were inspired by a few of my favorite animes. Although I don’t personally dress similar as an anime character, I do know a few people who base their outfits on K-Pop artists. Not only do they look good, but they’re also showing off their geeky side which I love. You gotta embrace the geek side!

The Priestess

Based on Kikyo from Inuyasha, the white blouse gives the red drawstring pants a more feminine look. Kikyo was known as a powerful priestess, but she gives off a solemn vibe with a hidden girly side. Black sneakers and a feminine necklace gives more illusion to her sporty, yet playful side.

Believe It!

Naruto is one of my favorite animes to date. His signature orange jumpsuit has been changed into a vest with a blue blazer to give it a more modern look. Green cargo shorts are perfect in giving a more sporty vibe as he is a ninja. Heeled ankle boots are a staple among the kunoichi in Naruto. They’re both cute and functional. An anbu necklace pulls everything together, giving everyone a hint as who inspired this outfit. This outfit is perfect for a casual date among friends and going out with the family.
If You Want To Be A Master!

Although this outfit isn’t based on any characters in Pokemon, this outfit is good for a stroll around the mall or school. It’s simple Pokemon logo shows that you’re in the know about what’s happened in the Pokemon world while the black shorts give it a more playful side. Accessorize any way you want to make it unique to you. (Can you recognize which theme song the title comes from?)

That’s it for today! zA suprise is coming up next week! Can you guess what it is? Here's a hint, it's in these outfits! Thanks for reading!

Tippin' Tuesday//Embrace the Critics In Life

Hey guys!

Lat week I spread my wisdom *cough*crazy ideas*cough about how to love yourself. Now I'm focusing on outside forces who try to bring you down whether intentionally or unintentionally. As in, family, friends, and the world. Although all three influence you differently, they all are important in shaping who you are. It's important to learn how to embrace them. Here's how I do it...

I almost always reflect on what I've been told by my family, friends, or the world. They see me differently than I see myself, so obviously they would have some kind of insight about me.

Sometimes criticism is good. For essays and the like, but for a person? Most of the time, advice doesn't work out because people don't know the full picture or haven't experienced what you have. Everyone is different and have different ideals, so obviously it's up to you to figure out what works for you. Don't let anyone tell you how to do things and live your life. Unless it involves power tools. Then I recommend some advice because I wouldn't want to lose a limb.

Just go with the flow. People will judge and mock you, but don't give them the power to belittle you. Use their negativity as a way to bring yourself up instead of bringing you down. Positive energy should be used to fuel you, but don't rely on it to always motivate you. Embrace people's influence, but don't let then change you.

That's it for today! Thanks for reading!

Hey guys!

Last week I was swamped with work so I don't think I posted a Life Happens or if I did, I posted a short one. This week was actually manageable and not much happened. But here's what did...

I am understanding math. Finally! This chapter seems a lot easier than earlier ones, but I guess it's because we're not using numbers in the equations. Instead, we need to remember the order and then plug in whatever numbers we get from the problem. That's a lot easier for me to remember than other equations. School has been going by pretty fast and I'm nervous for graduation.

Graduation is fast approaching and I am so not ready. Although I know what I'm going to do after high school, I'm still having jitters about what I'm going to do. At least I have a plan, right?

Sleep has been iffy for me. Some days I have enough and others not. Hopefully I settle down once spring break comes. I really want to be able to sleep at a constant time everyday.

I have been trying to eat healthy, but I just can't seem to find what works for me. I eat less junk food than when I was fifteen, but it's still a considerable amount. I really need to get my cravings down ASAP.

Mentally exhausted from school, but physically ready to do anything. My brain wants to do a lot of different things that aren't homework which is what I should really be focusing on. I'm trying to find a time to do what I need to and what I want to and it's okay alright.

My closet is coming along nicely by the way. I'm thinking of doing a series about how I'm slowly finding my style (and the room for everything!), but with school I'm not sure if I can remember to type anything up. We'll see once Monday rolls along.

As mentioned above, once Monday hits I might have a few blog posts that aren't Tippin' Tuesday or Style It related. I have a few reviews to write and I know I have some kind of tags that I still need to do. Oh the life of a procrastinator.

That's it for this week! Hope y'all had a wonderful week! Thanks for reading!

Haul//The Body Shop & Charlotte Russe

Hey guys!

I went to the mall Sunday to buy a present for one of my dad’s friend’s daughter. Dads are hopeless when it comes to birthday presents (at least, my dad is). While I was there I picked up a few things that I needed. Or well, I thought I needed. I’m just glad I only stopped at two shops. So here’s what I got.

Sunday was the first time I went into The Body Shop. Oh yes, the very first time. I was slightly intimidated with all the sweet smelling items, but I buckled down and only got a few things. I liked the smell of their hand sanitizer and got four where the other three where basically for free as there was a deal going on. The facial brush was adorable and I needed to replace the one I bought at Daiso which is slowly losing it’s functionality. The gloves were a impulse buy as I needed a new scrub and I’ve seen gloves were what most bloggers liked to use. Besides it was $5 which was a steal compared to if you buy something similar in WalMart or Target.

I bought socks from Charlotte Russe because I am addicted to them. I’m serious guys! I’m like Dumbledore where I horde pretty socks to keep my feet warm at night. But I only wear crew socks to sleep as anything else is too long or too short. Anyway, I bought knee high and over the knee high socks because I have none. Yes. None. They were $0.99 each and I was very happy. I only got five pairs because I knew if I got more, I’d have to get a closet just for socks. Yup. That’s how far my sock addiction is slowly progressing to. I did get various colors and textures. I especially love the basic grey over the knee high socks.

That’s it for today! Hope you guys have had a great day! What have you been buying lately?

Tippin' Tuesday//Love Yourself Babe

Hey guys!

Valentine's Day has come and gone, but love is still in the air. Not only love for your significant other, but love for family, friends, and yourself. It's important for people to take the time to learn to love yourself. I've slowly learned how to love myself through the years. Yes, I may be "too young" to know what's right for me, but I do know what makes me happy and how I want to live my life while also taking care of myself. But I'm not here to talk about teenage angst.

Loving oneself is one of the most important things in life because if you can love yourself, how will you love your life, your family, or your job if you can't enjoy being yourself? So here's what I do to make sure I always know to love myself.

Even if you don't agree with someone's opinion, fashion sense, or choice of friends, respect their decision to think or be that way. Understand where they're coming from and realize that everyone has different views of something and not everyone will agree with you. Respect them for sharing their opinion with you and keep respecting them if you don't agree because if everyone had the same opinion what kind of world would we be in? There would be no new artists, movies, etc., because everyone would want the same thing. So respect people's opinion.

Respect yourself when you make a mistake because at least you know you're trying. Respect yourself no matter if you dress or act differently from others because you're just being you.

This is not Fifty Shades of Grey where Ana doesn't know her boundaries and gets hurts from her mistakes. Know what you're willing to do in certain situations and make sure your not overstepping them. I don't mean to not try out new things, I mean don't try new things if you're uncomfortable with them. As in, you're going to burst into tears at the thought of doing something so out of your comfort zone that you don't even want to get up crying. Don't push yourself. Just follow your boundaries and one day you'll be able to try new things without feeling like you'll die trying to do it.

But not at the expense of others. Don't say something that you don't mean unless there's a surprise involved. Like cake. Then it's okay to lie. But always, always, mean what you say. Say yes when you want to say yes. Say no when you want to say no. Remember that you can't please everyone and it feels a lot better to do what you want to do instead of following someone else's lead. Unless that's your job. Then it's okay to do that. But for everyday life, don't play guessing games. Just say yes. Say no. If the person can't handle it, then are they really helping with your growth and development?

And an all around great person. As long as you try your best everyday, life won't be too hard. Remember that you were made for a reason and you may not find that reason until it hits you on the head one day. Don't let what other say about you affect you dramatically. If it's constructive criticism, reflect on it, adjust accordingly, then move on. But if it's hate or just plain rudeness, forget about it. There are some people in life who's purpose is to put down others and you should not only ignore them, you should treat then kindly. Because they might never have had kindness in their life before. Kill them with your kindness. You're beautiful, amazing, strong, independent, should I go on?

So love yourself darling. Loving yourself is one of the greatest gifts you'll ever give yourself.

That's it for today! I hope y'all has a great day so far! Thanks for reading!

Hey guys!

Today will be short. As in, I'm too lazy to write more than a single paragraph short (and a little more).

This week went surprisingly fast. I don't really remember all that happened, but I do know that I have a few posts that are just waiting to be written after this one. I also have a few things I definitely want to share with you guys, but haven't been keeping up with my health as I should be. Tomorrow will be a new week where I can really make myself do what I need to do. Which includes getting back into the groove of things with my New Year's Eve goals. I should really work on those.

This month will hopefully have a few interesting posts that I'm sure you guys are gonna love. Maybe even a haul post or two. I haven't been posting about those in a while because I am a shopaholic. And I have no shame in saying that.

That's it for today! Hope you guys had a great week! Thanks for reading!

Style It//Lazy Valentine

Hey guys!

Tomorrow is Valentine's Day! So if you're a lazy person like me or don't have a special someone to dress up for, this guide is definitely for you. Not only should us single women unite in solidarity with our outfits, we should also support each other in our decision to stay single indefinitely. And for the lazy people who don't really want to get too dressed up for a holiday. So here's what's up...

Don't Sweat It

Don't Sweat It
Throw on some leggings and a nice top to show that not only will you be taking a nap after you run some errands, you'll look good doing it. Some running shoes and easy to style accessories will make you seem like you care, but you really don't. Score!

Just Throw It On!

Just Throw It On!
A sweater dress looks nice and easy to throw off once you get home from a long day of work. Not only can you pair it with sandals to give it a playful look or wedges to feel taller, you can amazing when all you want is for the day to be over with.

We Done Yet?

We Done Yet?
High waisted shorts and a cropped shirt may seem like too much work, but believe me, they're really easy to slip into. Some knee high socks for cold mornings that can be folded down when the sun starts beating down on you with some nice shoes shows that you're up for anything. Even if it's just to go get some milk.

That's it for today! I hope you guys have an amazing Valentine's Day! And remember, valentine's day isn't just for couples, it's go everyone!

Tippin' Tuesday//It's Single Awareness Day! Bring the champagne!

Hey guys!

Valentine's day is almost here! Although I'm excited for all the candy that's going to go on sale after the holiday, having to watch couples be all lovey dovey can really put a damper on things. It's like all your couple friends decided to rub it into your face that all you have to keep you warm at night is a heated blanket. And a huge body pillow.

But of course, that's not what's happening. It's all in your mind. Everyone wants to have a special someone deep deep down. It just takes time for people to find that person. So here's how to handle single awareness day!

Although I dislike the use of the term, chick flicks, they definitely describe the kind of movies that are full of romance, comedy, and happy endings. They'll just remind you that you don't have anyone on valentines day to cuddle with. Instead, watch your favorite movie even if it's a horror flick because let's face it, there's only a certain amount of romance a person can take in a day. A day full of romance is not everyone's cup of tea.

Valentine's day is the perfect day to have me time. It's not nicknamed "Single Awareness Day" for nothing. While everyone is doing couple stuff, you can relax with a book, have a facial, or take a nap. Whatever you like because while couples are taking over restaurants and movie theaters, you can take the time to get a pedicure, a massage, or even do some LARPing(live action role play) if that's your thing. It's the perfect opportunity to cruise the town alone finding random things to do or stay at home doing whatever you want.

If you really are lonely, as in whenever-i-get-home-I-feel-like-I'm-the-only-one-without-a-bae type of alone, adopt a pet. Maybe you just want to cuddle, but not with someone else. Not only will you get a cuddly companion, you'll make an animal happy. There's a lot of animals in shelters that need a good home. Maybe they'll find one in yours.

That's it for today! What do you do on valentine's day? Thanks for reading!

Style It//Classy Valetine

Hey guys!

This week’s Style It post is all about getting ready for Valentine’s Day! Today we’re going to be focusing on the more classier side of Valentine’s Day. Which is to say that this is for the non lazy people--er I mean, people who have more time to get ready.

Too Cute For You

Too Cute For You

Skirts are great for Valentine’s Day because they give off a very flirty vibe. Pairing it with a nice white peasant shirt makes the outfit girly and cute, perfect for Valentine’s Day. Throw on a your favorite jacket or accessories to make it you! I paired this outfit with a tan leather jacket since it is cold in the mornings, but gets hotter once it’s the afternoon in California.

Dress Me Up

Dress Me Up

A pretty hi low dress is perfect for people who want to dress up a little more. With your preferred shoes (mine are boots for school and heels for after), you can steal some hearts then break them. Accessorize with a few simple pieces to bring all the attention to the dress or go with a bold makeup look to accentuate your face.
Ring My Bell

Ring My Bell

Jeans can look really put together if you choose the right top. Bell bottoms may be sooo 80's, but they give your butt that extra oomph! and look amazing with a flowy top. Pair them with boots or heels to give you an advantage if your valentine is taller than you.

That's it for today! Thanks for reading!
