Music//5SOS Concert Essentials

Hey guys!

Since tomorrow is my 5SOS concert, I decided to put together what I need today. I'm using a drawstring bag that I got during a college fair for free. It'll keep my hands free while holding everything that I need.

Concert Essentials:
Hand Cream
Hand Sanitizer
Oil Blotting Sheets
Tissues
Mirror
Chap stick
Lip Butter
Snacks
Wallet
Pen
Phone Charger
Phone

I'm also bringing a bottle of water because I don't want to buy one at the venue. I know that most snacks and drinks at concerts so it's easier to just bring one. Also not pictured is another set of clothes and a light sweater. You can never be too prepared.

That's it for today! Thanks for reading!

Style It//5SOS Concert

Hey guys!

Tomorrow I'm going to my first concert. I'll be going with my younger cousin who loves them. Personally I'm not that much of a fan, but I do think they have nice songs and voices. I decided to make these outfits very simple as it's my first concert and I don't want to wear something bulky in a place that's going to be filled with thousands of people.

LIFE HAPPENS #23.5

Hey guys!

I know I haven't been updating as frequently as I used to because I'm currently in Chicago! If you keep up with my instagram, you've already seen a selfie with me and the front of my Aunt's house. I've been enjoying being lazy for a few weeks and going into stores that I don't have in California. Okay, most stores I don't have in California are grocery stores and food stores, but hey! It's fun to try out new stuff!

Unfortunately I didn't go to Warped Tour as planned. My aunt's family came over the day of Warped Tour, so I decided to just stay home and watch the little ones. Now I'm going to a 5 Seconds of Summer concert this Saturday! I have two tickets for me and my younger cousin who loves them. I think we're on the second floor, but I'm not really sure. The layout looks weird online so I'm hoping that there are maps inside the amphitheatre so we can figure out where we are.

I've also been shopping quite a bit, so I might be doing a collective haul soon! I am concerned with how everything is going to fit in my luggage for when I go home, but I'm hopefully that everything fits.

Here's a little bit of what I've been listening to while I'm here in Chicago! I love him so much.

Influenster Review//L'Oreal Paris Ultimate Straight VoxBox

Hey guys!*

I don't think I've ever used a L'Oreal product before. I know there's been a lot of commericals for this set and I'm glad that I got chosen for this voxbox! The products have really pretty packaging and look amazing in your bathroom.

The product themselves work really well. Although there are a lot of different steps to using the entire system, you can skip a few of them if you don't really feel like doing a whole routine. My hair still felt silky and straight despite only using the shampoo and conditioner. The smell is alright, nothing really special.

That's it for today! Thanks for reading!

*I got this VoxBox complimentary from Influenster. All opinions and comments are my own. (I'll also add the pictures later because for some reason I can't find them on my iPod.)

Sorry for not updating much! I'm currently in Chicago for vacation! I'll be updating y'all this Saturday for sure though!

Review//Isa Professional XANADU 24K Gold Vitamin C Serum & FoundationPrimer

Hey guys!*

Today I'll be reviewing the Isa Professional XANADU 24K Gold Vitamin C Serum and Foundation Primer.

The packaging is adorable with the clear bottle making it easy to see how much product you have left. The product itself has a gel consistancy and goes on smoothly. It also has a slight scent to it which, to me, smells like baby powder and the Avon Sweet Honesty perfume. The golden flakes are real gold so yes, you are definitely putting gold on your face. I'm sure that there are some great benefits of using gold in your products, but to be honest, I'm more concerned on whether or not it really works with my skin.

The product isn't tested on animals which makes me very happy as I'm trying to be more conscience of what I'm using. When I applied it onto my face, it felt very refreshing. After rubbing it into my skin, it only takes a few moments for it to dry. I noticed that the gold is noticeable when looking into a mirror. The flakes create a glittery effect that I don't really mind. But if you're not into the glittery effect, it takes a while for the glitter to be "absorbed" into the skin. Sometimes flakes stay for an hour or two until they've gotten into your skin. I'm not sure if you can cover the flakes with makeup as I don't wear foundation that much, but I think foundation might make them "disappear".

All in all, the product is alright. It's not life changing or anything. Maybe continued use over a long period of time will make show a bigger difference in your skin. For now, I'll keep using the serum and update you guys on any kind of progress my skin seems to make.

What do you think of the product?

*Product given to me for free for testing purposes. All opinions and comments are my own.

Etsy Love #1

Hey guys!

Yes, I totally stole-er, I mean borrowed this idea from Delicate Teeth and Bones. But I just love these kinds of posts and this series is (or will be (hopefully)) very different from hers. These aren't just my favorite finds for the day or week or month. Nope, the items linked could have been in my favorites list for years. Yes. Years. I've been on Etsy since 2009, but made an account in 2011 because well. I like to follow the rules.  I"m the person who haunts stores and loves items, but usually doesn't buy anything until I find something that I really really can't pass up. I'm also one of those bloggers/readers who loves reading other people's blogs, but won't comment on any posts because um hello? There's another person reading what I just wrote and like, it's nerve racking to wait for their reply. Do I sound stupid? Did I spell that right? WHY AREN'T THEY RESPONDING TO MY STUPIDITY? Ahem.

Anyway, most of what I'm going to post will most likely have some kind of theme. Lately I've been trying to find high waisted shorts and summer like clothing/accessories to inspire myself into actually putting some thought into what I wear during the day. Although I don't really go out much, it's good to have ideas right? Right! So here ya go! Random stuff that I like!

LIFE HAPPENS #23

Hey guys!

Happy Fourth of July to all my fellow Americans! I spent my fourth sleeping the day away and listening to the sound of fireworks going off in the distance. It was very relaxing for me. Not much happened this week also. Just lots of cleaning and waiting for for next week. What's happening next week? Oh, you'll see soon. Here's a one of my favorite YouTube videos to tide you over.

MY SUMMER 2015 BUCKET LIST

Hey guys!

Oh yes. Today will be a bucket list kind of post. Why? Why not?! I know some bloggers have written posts about un-bucket lists? or whatever they're called which highlights doing simple things in life that don't cost much or are easily attainable. Although I would love to write a post like that (maybe I'll even write one after this post!), this is my last summer to slack off. Graduating from high school has made me realize that my life is a quarter? a tenth? of a way finished. I don't want to be bogged down by adult obligations and bemoan about missing out on events that I could've gone to when I was younger. So I'm going to live a little and write about my bucket list for this summer. Here we go!

Go to Warped Tour in Chicago // If not Chicago, then when? If not Chicago, hopefully I'd be able to go next summer, but I want to experience it once as a teenager before I go as an adult. (If I have a chance to go when I'm older!)

Make a scrapbook // Not a really huge one that can span years, but one that captures the moment! One that I can keep adding to until school starts and I can look back on it with fondness. Also, I want to expand my craft drawer while I'm at it. ;)

Read (and finish reading!) a book // Oh how I miss picking up a new book! I have a lot of books in my To Be Read pile! And I know my book blog is missing out on the love! I'm going to do something about that soon!

Learn how to skateboard // Not only would it be good exercise, it's another way to get to and from school! When I feel like making the long trek by foot. Which I don't (and hopefully, won't in the future).

Write something // Oh goodness guys. I've broken my NYE Goals a hundred times over. I really need to get into the swing of things again.

Make macarons // There's so many tutorials on YouTube that I'm really itching to start learning how to make them. It'll be fun to make on lazy days.

Learn how to play the ocarina // I am really really excited to start learning to play it. Now that there's some really easy tutorials on YouTube, I don't have to go figure out everything on my own. If anyone else wants to learn, I've left a video to one of the easiest tutorials I've ever seen. There's going to be 14 parts with video six being the latest I believe.
