Hey guys!

This week was my first week of my second semester of college. I have been busy making sure that I'm on track with my classes and finding the best way for me to study. Here's what happened...

I'm going to (hopefully) change my Intro to Statistics class with Trigonometry class next week. I'm more inclined to wanting to take Trig because I found out that I need to take it before taking Pre-Calculus at my college. Also, one of my friends is in that class and really needs my help. So a win-win situation. If I do change my classes, I'd end up having Monday, Wednesday, and Friday off. I'm hoping to get it changed soon.

I have been slowly whittling down my wardrobe this week. I have a small pile of clothes and a few shoes that I'm going to part with soon. Depending on whether or not I have time, I might sell some of them on Vinted.

My sleep schedule has been all over the place this week. I'm trying to get it back on track, but it's hard to change habits quickly. I've been on my studyblr, trying to figure out if I should just adjust my schedule to what's been going on, but I think sleeping all day and staying up all night wouldn't be productive in a few weeks. Fingers crossed that I don't get burnt out anytime soon.

That's it for this week! Thanks for reading!

Hey guys!

I've been really busy lately trying to clean my room and getting ready for school on Monday. I started my first ever online class in FutureLearn which is a website that offers FREE online classes. I'm currently taking a Start Writing Fiction class. It's really different from traditional classes, but I really like it so far.

I mentioned in my earlier post New Year, New Style (Chit Chat), that I'd try to focus on getting accessories or similar items to add to my closet. I've already technically broken this promise, but the clothing I bought feels like something that I'd wear all the time so they don't really count. I have a small pile of clothes that I don't want or use anymore that I'll be putting up on my Vinted next week for about a month or so before I decide to donate them. Although I would like to get some money from selling my old clothes, I don't want them just laying around for a couple months. I'll just end up making a bigger mess so I'm trying to find a balance in selling and donating.

Monday is when my second semester of college officially start. I don't have any of my textbooks since I'm not sure if I'll really need them for my classes. I'm also thinking of switching my Statistics class with Pre-Calculus, however the classes are full so I'll need to speak to a counselor about other options.

That's it for today! Thanks for reading!

Influenster Review//Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream

Hey guys!

This will be the first of a couple of review that will be coming up soon. I got this product for free from Influenster. All comments and opinions are my own.

The Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream is thick and creamy. It has a plastic like smell which reminds me of acne creams. Not a good first impression. I know some people use this for their eczema and dry skin, and by their accounts, it's a really nice brand of moisturizers.

I first used this for my hands and arms. I ended up getting what seems like a tiny amount, but it covered a large amount of skin. It feels greasy as it dries which wasn't something I liked. My skin did feel smoother, but not as hydrated as when I use my St. Ives lotion for the same purpose.

All in all, it's a nice moisturizing cream. I think it would work better for people with really dry skin than those who already have moisturized skin.

That's it for today! Thanks for reading!

Hey guys!

I know it's been a while since my last update. I was enjoying my semester break a little bit too much. Now I'm back with a little chit chat and a link or two.

As the title says, I'm going to have a new style this year. It's not going to be what's in, but what I've realized fits me and my life. I've been trying to figure out a way to incorporate minimalism into my wardrobe as it's getting out of hand. I've been accumulating a lot of shopping bags, but I haven't been featuring them in a haul because I wanted to do a huge collective post at the end of the month.

Most of what I've bought are accessories or fandom/band related items. If you've kept up with my twitter, I've mentioned some new nail polish as well. I've bought a few new clothing items, however I'm trying to be more selective on what I choose to buy.

The minimalist lifestyle has been trending for a good while, and I know I wrote a post about it earlier in 2015. Then life got a little crazy and I had to abandon ship on that first try. Now, I feel more confident in trying out my version of minimalism. I'm not going to follow the typical set up of a capsule wardobe. What I like to wear is different from what other people like to wear, so I have to accomodate for that change.

I started to make a few pages dedicated to my venture into minimalism and fashion in my Everything Journal. I used INTO MIND's post on Rebuilding Your Wardrobe on a Budget: What To Buy First as a reference on what I should focus on first. Since my problem is that I have too many clothes, I decided to see what clothing doesn't fit in my personal style. I was able to have a small pile of clothes that I am considering of either donating or putting up on my Vinted.

I'll be keeping you guys updated on my progress on either a weekly or monthly basis. It all depends on what I'm working on that week. I have a few reviews in the works and a lot of time on my hands, so watch out for those posts!

That's it for now! Thanks for reading!

Makeup//My Everyday Eyeshadow Look

Hey guys!

I haven't really done a "proper" makeup look on this blog. I've been playing around with lighting and other aspects to see if I can take a nice picture of my eyelids. I'm still working on that. Most of my pictures don't really show the whole process so I decided to try something else out. Instead of using Polyvore for just outfits, I made a short how to on my everyday makeup look. I used the Too Faced Natural Eyes for this tutorial. It's one of my favorite palettes.

This look is very simple and easy. Although I don't have a picture of it on me (since I can't seem to get the eyeshadow to properly show up on in pictures), I showed off the product and a brush or two that are as close to what I use as possible.

My Everyday Eyeshadow Look

Not only can you check out the products on Polyvore, it's nice and compact into one picture. I'm hoping to add a bit more of these kinds of posts this year since they're so easy to make.

That's it for today! Thanks for reading!

Hey guys!

I hope you guys had an amazing New Year's! I didn't really do much this past week. I worked on my Everything Journal as mentioned in my studyblr. It's going really well. I've started a few pages, and I've gotten a set of new pens from WalMart today. They're the Staedtler six pen set. I got them for about $6.

Besides starting my Everything Journal, I got my Jingle VoxBox from Influenster a few days ago! Although the box was all banged up and someone obviously tried to take a peek at what was inside, nothing was missing. I'm going to do a separate blog post about it soon once I take a few pictures.
