Monthly Favorites//February 2016

Hey guys!

The first monthly favorites of the new year is always hard to pin down for me. I didn't write a monthly favorites post for January as I didn't really have a consistent item or product I was always reaching for. This month I have a few accessories that I love and a makeup palette.

ACCESSORIES

I had gotten a set of Eeveelution earrings in January, but I never got the chance to wear them out last
month. I am obsessed with my Espeon earrings as it's my favorite Eeveelution out of the known seven. I love that Eevee has to evolve using friendship and daylight to become Espeon as it really says a lot about the Pokemon. Not to mention that the 20th Pokemon anniversary was this month! I gotta have something related to Pokemon in this list.

The Sleeping With Sirens bracelet isn't really new, but I've been really into it lately. I love the thick band and how it can add a little character to my outfits. The song lyrics are really subtle too. While the pink bracelet was actually an item I got from Spencer's when I donated $2 to their breast cancer awareness campaign. I thought the hash tag was totally fitting for me, and my friends all had different ones so I needed to get one for myself.

MAKEUP

I fell in love with the BH Cosmetics Galaxy Chic palette on Facebook. It was on sale, so I thought why not? All the colors are unique and sparkly which is perfect for me as I like to have my eyeshadow pop when I'm going out. The names of each color is also adorable. My favorite colors are Prometheus, Neptune, and Asteroid.

What have you been loving this month?

LIFE HAPPENS #44

Hey guys!

As this month comes to a close, I am happy to say that I won't be as busy as I was the last few weeks. I'll soon have a plethora of posts up in March that I've been trying to post this month. Oh the joys of being a college student.

SCHOOL

I'm getting into the groove of things and hopefully will have be back on schedule in terms of posting. I'm currently trying to find ways to incorporate more studying time into the little pieces of my day so I don't have to do the large studying sessions I usually have every other day. I might start making a study planner or schedule, however I don't think I'd be able to stick with it since I'm very impulsive and flighty.

Classes are going pretty well for me these last few weeks. The suddenly heavy workload might just be my inability to plan ahead. I think I have a lot of time, but suddenly I don't anymore. It can get pretty disconcerting.

PERSONAL

I have gotten really into shopping lately. I think it started when I had to buy my school books and snowballed after that. I'm currently waiting for two packages to arrive. One is makeup and the other is a travel case. I wasn't planning on the travel case, but it was the last week! I didn't want to pass it up! Yes, I'm so very weak when it comes to shopping.

Next month I'm going to try to restrain myself from buying too much items or too expensive products. It's always something that's very cute and very expensive that catches my eye. It's kind of embarrassing.

An Unexpected Break (And Now I'm Back!)

Hey guys!

I haven't been updating this blog as much as I wanted to. It seems that between college, studying, and my other hobbies, I can't seem to make time for this little blog of mine. However, I'm (hopefully) not going to be as busy as I was these past few weeks. I've looked at my class syllabuses and made a tentative schedule of when I'm going to do what.

I do have a Public Speaking class that requires me to have sixteen hours in the Speech lab. I'm thinking of going to the main campus of my school on Fridays to get four hours in one day, but I'm not much of an early riser. Despite the fact that most of my classes are in the morning, I'm still not used to waking up at the time I want to.

I will be trying my best to get back on schedule in the next month or so. Thanks for being so patient.

That's it for today! Thanks for reading!

LIFE HAPPENS #43

Hey guys!

I feel like I've been neglecting this little blog of mine lately. I do have several posts all ready to go, but somehow there's always a technical issue. Maybe I'm just having bad luck this month?

SCHOOL
It's going well. I've been trying to have a more consistent studying time, but with my habit to nap at any time of the day, I end up failing. I'm very hopeful that I won't be failing any of my classes though.

PERSONAL
I have gotten Garry's Mod on Steam! It was on sale for Lunar New Year and I'm so glad. GMod and Counter-Strike: Source were both on sale for $5 each. Now I can play Prop Hunt and all those other mini-games I see YouTubers play.

Speaking of YouTubers, I've gotten into VanossGaming recently. I just love his mind games. It reminds me a bit of Minx from TheRPGMinx. Not only have I started to go back into the gaming side of YouTube, I've recently rediscovered Marianas Trench. I think they're a Canadian based band, but I know they've been in the music scene for a couple of years now. I remember listening to a song of theirs a few years ago, and I totally forgot about them somehow. I really love their music videos though. Here are two of my favorites:

LIFE HAPPENS #42

Hey guys!

I feel like I've been gone for quite some time. Since second semester has started, I found that I don't really have as much time for myself like I thought I would. Here's an update...

SCHOOL
I met with an academic counselor on Thursday. We made a new Student Education Plan for me since I decided to change my major. I am now going to attempt to be a Chemistry major which will take about four years for me at my current community college. I'm totally fine with that schedule as I know Chemistry is one of those majors that takes a few years to get.

I will most likely be taking one summer class this year if I feel like it. Maybe even two or three classes since I need at least twelve credits to get my financial aid money. Most colleges need their students to get a certain amount of credits to get their FAFSA money.

PERSONAL
I've been sleeping a lot. Maybe that's why I don't have as much time as I thought I do. Although I did decide that Fridays would be my break days, I'm going to still do my online classes that are separate from my 'official' school classes.

I'm also trying to get into reading books since I'm way behind the 52 Books Challenge that I signed up for last month on tumblr. If you haven't been on my studyblr, you should definitely check it out. There's a lot of cool information that I've found and resources that are definitely helpful for people who need it.
