Hey everyone!

Remember how ambitious I was at the beginning of the month? Well everything has gone downhill. Tomorrow the word count goal is 15,000, and I am around 7,000 or so words. It's not looking too well for me right now. Although I outlined, I can't seem to get the words down on paper.

I'll be attempting to flesh out more scenes and character traits in an attempt to convince myself to write more. The pacing of my story feels kind of slow even though I do have to set up most of the background stories and main theme before even tackling the fun stuff. There is a few more topics I need to research before I could write some scenes which may help my word count goal later this week. Let's hope I can pull through with a miracle this month.

If you're participating in NaNoWriMo, what's your current word count?

  1. The extent of my recent labors have involved combing through a pile of paperwork to gather relevant data for a government application. Pure drudgery, but it alerted me that I have a pile of stuff I need to shred or just dump. On a better note, I've been catching up on the most recent work of a movie star of my generation: Kurt Russell. Last night I watched "Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol.2," and a rugged western called "Bone Tomahawk" from 2015. On Saturday, I'll see him again in the Blu-Ray edition of "Fate of The Furious."
